Sunday; Time To Relax!

Recall it as often as you wish, a happy memory never wears out.

We worked on the puzzle and volia, it is beginning to come together. We cannot figure out whether we are buying harder puzzles or we are getting worse at putting them together!

I worked in the yard for several hours trimming the plants and removing the dead tomatoes. The yard is looking pretty good right now. I also planted three planters with potatoes! They will provide about 30-40 small potatoes in the next month or so!

I listen to Leo LaPorte on KFI and his computer show…always pick up something new. He likes my new WiFi system, Orbi, and I am thinking about one more satellite in the garage so I can hardwire the shop iMac directly into the network.

Too funny and too close to the truth….Time for a giggle!!

Lunch time…we went to the frig and zero leftovers so it is off to Taco Surf! How did the pantry get bare? Taco Surf is just about two miles from our place so it was an easy drive…of course, after lunch the ol’ Silver Ghost went on automatic and did a VFR for Coldstone Creamery!

After lunch, I walked part of the garden and used Miracle-Grow on the pumpkins and watermelon. I grow them every year for our next door neighbors grandkids! They love watching “Mr. Paul’s” garden grow! LAst year we got two 70 pound pumpkins from plants jusy like these!

I was surprised but the berries have returned…another variety of blackberry just started producing fruit while the others are gone for the season. The calendar and I had a field day..pick one…eat one…pick one…east one!

More berries on their way… from the bush to my mouth!

We watched TV in the afternoon and on into the evening. Watch TV for an hour, read for an hour… life is good!

The 50th reunion website is being finalized…more work in it than people probably recognize. Good night all!

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
