It Is Sun Day…Finally!

Among retirees what is considered formal attire?   Tied shoes.

The sun is out…OMG, June Gloom is gone today! We be amazerated! Quick, to the yard and console the veggies, let them know they were not transplanted overnight…they are still safe in their beds!

We have a dance tonight so we are resting meaning piddling around doing stuff. I fixed our closet mirrored doors which over the years began to not open easily. 30 minutes, a few tools and a little WD-40 and it is not a happily adjusted door.

I worked in the shop and listened to Leo LaPort, “The Computer Geek”…good information. When the news comes on i turn the radio down but one time I was on the ladder and could not get to the volume control. I heard the dimocrats saying the deal with Mexico was bad…Geeez…Mexico does more for the security of the US than the damned Congress.

After the radio incident, I did take a 45 minute nap before betting ready to go to Old Ranch.

Selfie time

Join us for an evening of fun at the ranch! We sponsor the dance and today we had thirty-one folks join us for dinner and dancing!

Dancing with friends at the Old Ranch Country Club monthly dinner dance

We headed home and did our tookie/TV thing until about 12:30 PM finally crashing after a great day!

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
