More Chores! Cleaner Garage!

You need only two tools: WD-40 and Duct Tape: if it doesn’t move and it should, use WD-40; if it moves and shouldn’t, use the duct tape.

Today was a rest day… I drove to the market to get some mushrooms as I was wanting a mushroom omelette.  I whipped up a great egg dish doing it the easy way!  I sautéed red bell-peppers, added some mushrooms, then threw in a mess of spinach leaves until they wilted.  I added three eggs and scrambled them up adding only black peppercorns and spicy salt to the mix.  Wonderful!

Sue dug into the Chinese and Mexican leftovers and created a new type of burrito-taco!!

After that, I headed to the garage and assembled another heavy-duty roll-round storage unit. These are great as they can hold 600 pounds/shelf plus when I load up the shelf, I can roll it out form the wall and see the back side of the shelf easy!  It was $99 at Lowe’s!  Such a deal!

Still getting the garage into shape!

We watched two more Christmas movies and I subscribed to Hallmark movies which was a whole $60/year and we can go through their entire movie library which is fantastic!

Tonight we headed to the GG Elks to visit friends and hopefully dance a little bit.  The effort was a bust… we were the only ones there except Norma and Jerry who were sitting with other folks!  We stayed about an hour, listened to the music, and I had salmon!

We returned home to watch Christmas movies and have tookies before crashing!  We watched “It’s Christmas, Carol” and it was perfect!

Movie Summary: The story of driven, heartless, publishing executive Carol Huffman, who on Christmas Eve is visited by the ghost of her former boss, Eve. Eve tells Carol that she has lost sight of the things that are truly important in life and that she is there to show her the errors of her ways. Eve explains that normally there would be three ghosts for the job, but due to budget cutbacks, she is in charge of Carol’s journey through her past, present and future.

We crashed about 11:30 PM after watching one episode of Food and Friends.
