Thank You Family Plumber

A plumber was called to a doctors home to fix leaking faucet that had kept the surgeon awake late at night. After a two-minute job the plumber demanded $150. The surgeon exclaimed, ‘I don’t charge this amount even though I am a surgeon.” The plumber replied, “I agree, you are right. I too, didn’t either, when I was a surgeon. That’s why I switched to plumbing!”

For several months my side of the shower seemed to work fine for about 3-4 minutes, then it would get cold.  Sue’s side of the shower…no problems!  So I finally called Family Plumber (GREAT COMPANY) and they came out do to do the fix.  Water on/water off/water on/water off… they made it easy for us!

Tools and supplies everywhere!  Two guys WORKED form 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM and just got finished…glad I didn’t try to do it myself!

I was awaiting two new cameras for the security system and was amazed to find out Amazon shows us where the delivery truck is located!

He is on his way!

A few minutes later, Santa arrives and 10 minutes later I have eyes in the shop!

Eyes…I can monitos the doors, shop, an the car.  Love it!

I went on a wine run as we were out of blush wine.  Upon return, the guys were almost done.  Glad it was them and not me…I am too old to sit in a shower all day with a hack saw and a hot torch! They worked a solid eight hours so the bill worked out to be about $800 labor and $600 in new valves.

We called Jan and decided to stay home tonight as the kidney operation is still having some side effects.

We got a call from the Brits and we will be seeing them December 5th so we plan to change some of our Christmas plans to include them!  I called the Long Beach Ballet and got VIP tickets to the Nutcracker…we even get to go behind the scenes to see the stars.

We saw the end of Gilmore Girls and watched two episodes of “A Year In The Life” which was four episodes 90 minutes each about ten years after the series ended.

Cute couple although she is 48 years old now…

As we were sitting on our frnt room, Sue said “Check it out!” pointing to the front sliding door!  OMG, it was a MAGNIFICENT sunset right in front of us.  I took a shot with the iPhone and it was perfect!

Click to see the full sized image!  Just amazing

Note: The next morning I looked at Facebook and three our our neighbors posted pictures of the sunset forn their yards.  Truly beautiful!

We crashed at 11:30 PM as we have a big busy weekend starting tomorrow.  We have three Cerritos performances to go to plus other activities.

I listened to a little of the news before crashing and thought this cartoon was right on the money!

Oh so very true!
