June The Tooth Already!

How come it takes so little time for a child who is afraid of the dark to become a teenager who wants to stay out all night?

Google photos asked if we wanted to see two years ago today in pictures… Hee it is:

Paul was out walking two years ago today!

Yup!  Off for the morning walk…another ten miles has been notched into Paul’s belt!

Standard one hour walk!

The flowers were beautiful this morning as the Sun was out in full force!

The sun just made them standout!

Turning the corner at the 1/2 way point, this little feller caught Paul’s attention!  Also, do you see the statue in the background?  OK, how about the two frogs?

Lady in Red!

Random Memories: Paul remembered back to the 1950’s-60’s when TV and the news was sane.  Comedians were funny and quite clever because off-color humor was not allowed and the left-winger wasn’t so off-the-rails!  Listening to the news today, all we hear is the Russia probe and what is so silly is that everybody (except the looney left) knows it is baloney! After a year, if there was anything to it, the beans would be spilt! And comedians…there aren’t any remaining.  They do not have to think…just fire off explicatives and the dead-headed audience laughs! It’s sad, very very sad!

Back home for a quick bite and then to Home Depot! Paul needed food for the orange trees, a battery powered cut-off grinder,  three tomato plants and some other hardware items including two new brooms!

Paul had several cutting jobs to accomplishing including some brickwork and the ol’ chisel and hammer just would “not cut it”!

When you need one, you need one!

We did chores about the house and then watched some TV before getting ready to travel back to the Elks for some more dancing.  The Elks ran out of lamb chops so Paul did the Salmon…we danced to the Grumps Of OC until about 9:30 PM when they got so loud we had to leave.

Paul made some chocolate chip cookies and we watched TV until midnight before crashing.

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
