Yesterday Was Golf Day

Paul began the day with an hour long walk around the hood.   Every day gets scarier and scarier!  Paul tip toed down the street so as not to irritate a ghost or goblin lurking in the bushes! Join today’s scary walk!

Ghosts seem to hang ouy in the front year

The kept looking at Paul licking their lips!

After coming home and having a great lunch we headed to Old Ranch for nine holes of golf. What a great afternoon. It was about 72 degrees and a nice breeze… Perhaps even on the cool side.

We were a little worried about playing because our arms were sore from the flu and pneumonia shots we got yesterday.

Wack... The ball did not know what hit it!

Mitch and Luisa joined us for Taco Tuesday.  We had a nice visit and spent a couple of hours talking and catching up on things.  Luisa seems to be doing OK after the loss of her father and our friend!

Then to home to do the treadmill while watching Cheers and finally we visited Captain Janeway.  We watched  three episodes

  • Season 7 Number 11: Voyager is fractured into several time periods by an accident, and only Chakotay is able to move between them, in the process meeting old friends and old foes from the previous six seasons
  • Season 7 Number 12: Now married to Tom Paris, B’Elanna Torres discovers she is pregnant. The Doctor tells her to expect a daughter; but B’Elanna’s unresolved fear of the childhood traumas, which she suffered as a part-Klingon girl growing up among humans, makes her determined to remove her child’s Klingon DNA.
  • Season 7 Number 13: Prisoners are brought onto Voyager from a damaged alien vessel, and the crew must deliver them to their destination – for execution.

We both woke up with the cold sweats and we determined it was from the flu and pneumonia shots we got day before yesterday!

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
