Saddle up for a high-spirited, action-packed Western show with the Grammy-winning group Riders in the Sky, called one of “the most significant acts in the history of American music” by Billboard. The ensemble pays tribute to the movies, music, and memory of Roy Rogers, the “King of the Cowboys.”
We had front row center seats and they guys were fantastic. We laughed so hard just watching their facial expressions! They were having as much fun as us!
Paul was “King Of The Cowboys” on Comey Avenue in the late 1940’s! Paul’s Mom and Dad could not get him out of the Cowboy outfit! Yes, liberal friends, Paul had two six shooters complete with several rounds of caps AND a toy rifle! The bad guys never had a chance!
Right after the show, we skedaddled for the Santa Ana Elks Lodge to go dancing for several hours! Fortunately Cerritos Performing Arts Center and the Santa Ana Elks and just a half a block off the Freeway so we made it in about twelve minutes flat!
We headed home to just in time to get the intergalactic message to turn on the computer and watch Star Trek as we are often needed to assist Captain Janeway with her spaceship management chores!
