Watch Out For The Turkey!

We stayed at home in the morning and recorded the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.  We had a lite breakfast because we know what coming later.  We got dressed up and headed to Old Ranch for Thanksgiving where we celebrated with the Duda’s, Greg and David, Irene and Bernie, Carri, Hans and Kerstin, and Nita.   The “Empty Nesters” are always a load of fun!  We got our own turkey delivered to the table and watched Greg and David do the honors.  A Great afternoon!

A wonderful celebration with family and friends

We stopped by home for a few minutes and then headed to Joe and Amy’s home to celebrate with them and Michele and Tony!  When we got there Joe was putting up Christmas “lights”… Well  a projector that put out 1000’s of red and green images.  The house looked like it had holiday measles!  They had completed dinner but we got there in time for the dessert and the was apple pie form Costo and homemade pumpkin and chocolate pie.  Paul pigged out.

Joe had the big “G-Scale” trains running and that was heart warming to see them in use and how much Charlie and Alex enjoyed them!

We then headed for Mitch and Luisa’s and we missed the gang.  We figured they wold be late but magically everyone showed up on time and Mitch was ready with dinner.  We missed seeing Peanut and Gary and family which would have been quite nice.  However, we had a great visit with Luisa and Mitch and yes, more pie disappeared!

We were home by 9:00 and we sat up and watch a couple of Christmas movies and re-shared the wonder events of the day!

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
