Paul harvested and Sue cooked! We had to throw out one of our tomatoes as it was not doing well. The “Kellogg’s Breakfast” is now in the compost pile! We replaced it with a “Hillbilly Potato”… Love those names!
The “Hillbilly Potato” is an absolutely gorgeous bicolor beefsteak tomato, great for slicing. Beautiful yellow 1 pound fruits are streaked with red on the blossom end. Sweet and juicy. Heavy producer. Indeterminate, 85 days from transplant.
Sue worked on several kinds of squash and fresh green beans. We had so many squash blossoms that we visited Terri with a bag of blossoms!
After getting cleaned up we went to Patty’s Place for a drink or two before going to the Phoenix Club and visiting the gang! Everyone was there tonight. The Kuhn’s, Roberts, Zaitz, Marianne and Craig, Michael, Irene and Vince. We dance until the band was done… We were done also!
