Work And Play… It’s A Good Life

We stayed home today to recover from a very busy weekend.  Paul picked; Sue cooked!  We picked potatoes and Swiss chard and Sue worked her magic in the kitchen. The backyard continues to make slow progress but there was a load of work involved.

When it is done, Paul will be able to walk on concrete between the four 4×30 foot gardens for a smashing 500 square feet of accessible area!  Yeah!  Paul’s back is already feeling better!

You can begin to see the garden and walkways take form!

We stopped about 3:30 to clean up and get ready for our Malarkey’s visit the Irene and Greg.  Margaritas were flowing and the sun was setting.

After cocktails we headed for home and Sue did the treadmill and we watch “The Good Witch” and some of our series.

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
