Huntington Gardens Here We Come; An Evening At The Theater

It was a warm day so it ws time to go to the gardens and have afternoon tea at the Rose Room Tea House at the Huntington Library and Botanical Gardens.  Bunnaford joined us for the day.  Please join us!

Sue, Paul & Bunnaford… Tea time

After getting home, we change and then headed to South Coast Reperatory theater with Greg Leach to see “How The World Began”.  “How the World Began” isn’t going to change your mind about the evolution vs. creation debate, regardless of what you believe. But though it’s awkward and incomplete in parts, Trieschmann’s play succeeds in its ultimate purpose: showing us the tragedy that can result when the opposing sides of a schism petrify into two solitudes.

It was a new second stage production and we are satell trying to figure it out.  The evening was warm, in the 80’s.

A beautiful night and everything looked so bright

The theater looked like a box of jewels against the moonless background

The new season has just begun

When we got home, we watched a movie entitled “Mr. and Mrs. North“. Summery: Meet Gracie, America’s delightful dumb-bell, in the Broadway comedy stage hit that’s a panic on the screen! (original poster)

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
