Diddly Squat! That’s What We Did Today!!!

Mary and I are getting very good at this!!!

This morning, we looked at the calendar, and it was empty, as nothing was planned. We went to our office, read our mail, and then decided to do precisely that—diddly squat.

We wandered through the house, doing little things that needed to be done. Mary had found some grapes in the vineyard, so we decided to put them in the new air fryer in dehydration mode (we plan to have raisins in the morning).

Mid-afternoon, Mary fixed a dagwood sandwich, and we watched a couple of movies while she made banana nut muffins.

That takes care of the need to fix dinner!

I puttered in the backyard, putting covers back on the lawn furniture from the big wind, rolling up hoses, covering the yard swing, and moving the patio furniture around so it is easier to move about the patio.   Meanwhile, Mary did three loads of wash!

The doorbell rang and it 3wa another surprise for MAry.  She has a  LUCYwhich  reflects an image of anything! Just draw over the image to quickly start your realistic masterpiece. Draw live objects, portraits, or landscapes, on paper, canvas, or any surface. Draw or paint with any medium.

The Loft is getting automated!

We finally planted the last of the flowers, and there we are, me holding a flashlight while Dr. Mary is planting the little flowers around the base of the Hawaiian Pink Plumeria Frangipani we have lining the front yard patio.

Before hitting the sack, we used the bat phone to call Colleen and make some arrangements for Cassie’s birthday.

We visited Jeff, brought him some muffins, and then returned and hit the sack at 7:00 pm!

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
