We went to ORCC for breakfast and Lynne joined us… She had never had breakfast at the club. We played eighteen with Bunnaford and Charlotte. OK game today although it got a little cool on the back nine!
We headed for Happy Hour after a short pause at BevMo… You know, the 5 cent sale!?
Afterwords, we went home and then VFR to Cerritos Performing Arts Center to see “A Sixties Evening” . Groove to the songs that made the ’60s one of the greatest eras in music history. Join Gary Lewis & The Playboys, who dominated the Top 10 with Count Me In, Save Your Heart for Me, Everybody Loves a Clown, and She’s Just My Style; Sonny Geraci, the man behind the No. One singles Time Won’t Let Me and Precious and Few; Dennis Tufano, whose Top 10 hits with The Buckinghams included Kind of a Drag, Don’t You Care, and Back in Love Again; and Ron Dante, remembered for 1969’s “Song of the Year,” Sugar, Sugar.
We had great seats… Right in the center of the third row!
