We need to look back!
Today is Wednesday, also known as “hump day”, and we will take it slow and start packing for our trip. Domi and their team arrived promptly at 8:00 am and spent two and a half hours cleaning everything thoroughly, including changing all the bedding. The house now looks brand new.
We worked in the yard until it got too warm and then worked in the office for a couple of hours before going swimming. The pool was 92 degrees and it felt amazing as we just floated around talking to each other. When we got out, we headed to the shower to clean up for this evening’s board meeting of the Starlighters.
While we were readying the family room for the meeting, we called Charlie and Donna and sang them “Happy Birthday”…its our tradition to do the sone to the birthday people.
Mary sent me out to pick cucumbers and small tomatoes to add to the chips and dip for this evening.
The meeting went well, we were done in 90 minutes,
Business accomplished.
Mary and Iris snacked on some goodies before everyone departed,
We had planned to return to the pool, but ultimately opted to turn in early since we have to pack for the cruise tomorrow and Friday.
