Happy Mother’s Day

Estimated reading time: 2 minutes

Come join us for our Mother’s Day celebration at home.  We had a great time with family and friends!  Mary worked hard, making everything nice.

Working hard!

The weather was perfect; it was almost 80 degrees with a slight breeze.

Visiting!

We had more food than we could possibly eat!  Dinner was served when Rogin rang the ol’ dinner bell (with Scout’s help of course).

“I will make sure she does in correctly!”

Dianne entertained us with funny sounds!

Dinner was slow, and a lot of storytelling went on!

We ate and then ate some more!

At the end of the day we were pooped out, so we headed to the TV room and attempted to watch an Al PAchhino movie, but alas, at 11:00 pm, we woke up and went to bed for real.

We love the new furniture.

Robin and Bob brought Mary a Mother’s Day present; Hummingbirds and Butterfly wind chimes and they soak up the sun’s rays in the daytime and light up at night!

They are quite captivating!

We had no problem crashing; Mary was out cold in about five minutes, and I headed to the computer for thirty minutes to do the Daily Diary.

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
