Christmas is a time when you get homesick…even when you’re home.
Bright and early we back to decorating and we are about to get finished! We started with a sit by the fire and then we walked Five Miles! Joe came over to bring me his projecting equipment as I had prepared a movie about the Topper’s Dance Club which will be going “Out Of Business” as of this evening. Too bad because we have been dancing with that group for years and after seventy-five years, it is no longer viable!
I mentioned to Mary that I saw an Irish dancing show called ‘Streamdance’. It’s not quite as good as ‘Riverdance’, but then it is only a tributary act.
We departed Orange early and stopped at Old Ranch for a snack and a glass of wine before going to the Petroleum Club for the dance,
I should have stayed quiet but we all know ow that is impossible so I blurted out..
How do you make a tissue dance?
Put a little boogie in it
You can see the past ten years of its history on my website at http://lilesnet.com/toppers/index.htm.
We dance until 9:30 PM and headed for home as we have another big dance at the Elks on Saturday. We made it home safely and checked in with Scout, The Wonder Dog.
