The Week Begins… Slowly!

On what day do ghosts do their howling? Moan-day!

I pulled an all-nighter last night!  Yes, I did!

What? Did Mary stay home Monday morning?  Yes, folks, she had no patience on its Monday morning.  So I came to her place, and we went to the courthouse to pick up some legal forms.  Getting retired is difficult; you need all sorts of stuff.  We returned to her house and had a wonderful brunch.

We got into the freezer and found several meals, and thanks to the microwave oven, we had instant super lunch!

Mary went to work at 1:00 PM, and I departed her place at 2:00 PM after cleaning up and making sure Scout was watered!

Time-Warner and I troubleshot my wifi at my house and decided we needed a technician to visit tomorrow.  My WiFi crapped out at 2:46 AM, according to my router logs.

So at 4:00 PM, I decided, with no internet, I had nothing to do but wash as everything else in the house was in good shape.  I decided to go to MAry’s and wait for her.  We harvested my artichokes the other day, so I prepared them, and we had those artichokes in the InstantPot for dinner.

Really yummy! Mary stuffed them with parmesan cheese and other spices.

We finished dinner and watched Two And A Half Men before deciding to turn in.  MAry headed upstairs, and I finished off the dinner dishes and cleaned up our cooking mess before heading home.

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
