It’s Friday; We Made It Through Another Week!

“I like to imagine the guy who invented the umbrella was going to call it the ‘brella.’ But he hesitated.”

Mary worked today, which means I work today.  She at her practice and me around the house doing laundry and other chores.  Scout, the Wonder Dog, assisted me today, so I did not have to work about elephants in the yard.

I did some errands and returned home before Mary called.  Our favorite bartender called and asked if we were having dinner at Patty’s tonight.  I told him, no, but then I asked Mary, and she said yes.  Mary drove to my place after work, and we headed to Patty’s.  We had so much fun I didn’t even get the camera out!

Mary did a salad while I did salmon, which was outstanding.

We dined at 5:30 PM and were on our way home by 7:30 PM.  The Sun was setting.  We had a great time.

We are waiting for tomorrow because Spring will be here tomorrow, and we can start serious gardening.  We have all sorts of things to plant.

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
