It’s A Workday For Some!

The Man Who Created Autocorrect Has Died. Resturant In Peace.

Up and at ’em, I got to Mary’s in time to walk the pooch!  We did our 3/4 mile circular walk, and Scout was as happy as a clam in butter sauce!  Mary took her truck today, and I took Scout in the Silver Fox.  I needed assistance as the neighborhood has had problems with elephants; Scout chases them away!

All he needed was a set of false teeth!

Mary gave me something to remember her by on days she works, a Valentine Frog, what else?

Now every time I see a big red frog, I will think of her!

When I returned home, I did several loads of wash, paid some bills, watered the garden, and walked the baby again! I had to go to a sewer district special meeting at 11:00 AM, and it was over by 1:00 PM.  We watched videos from the CCTV that snakes through the sewers of Los Alamitos and Rossmoor.  Not a great video before having lunch!

It was fascinating to see the video and understand the process that generates the video.

After having a ham sandwich with the other board members, I headed home to visit Mr. Scout.  I spent the rest of the afternoon doing the wash, selecting clothes for this weekend’s visit to Temecula, and doing some odds and ends.

AT 4;30 PM Scout reminded me that we were supposed to leave for his mommy’s house.  We were off like a shot arriving at 5:00 PM.  I began to prepare dinner, which hopefully will turn out OK; Sausage and peppers.  I’m not too fond of sausage puns. They are the wurst.

I was going to make burgers for dinner, which I am sure Mary would relish.  I did not use a recipe; I used sage guidance from my son-in-law Mark who is a great chef in his own right.

Sausage & Peppers at 375 awaiting Mary’s arrival!

We watched Two And A Half Men, and by 8:00 PM, it was time to rest. Mary scampered upstairs and rashed, which I watered the dog, turned off the fire, cleaned the kitchen, and headed home.  Tomorrow is going to be a full day.

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
