Back To Work!

Estimated reading time: 2 minutes

Santa Claus’ favorite swimming spot is the North Pool!

Today I attacked my desk to see what is under all the paper.  My SiriusXM was mysteriously canceled, so I thought I missed paying the bill.  It turns out Robin canceled my radio in the Avalon, and my streaming account was attached to that account.  I called SiriusXM, and they transferred the streaming to my Lexus account, so all is well. Oh, I did not miss paying the bill because I pay quarterly, so it is not de up until my birthday in a couple of weeks!  All is good.

I called Colleen on the Bat Phone and talked to her for half-an-hour.  I asked if she still had snow, and I got the answer:

Cold!

I heard that even Santa had to get tested, but he was a tad upset when he read the sign outside the testing place!

Poor Santa!

I fiddled around all day in the house doing the washing, straightening my closet, and other maintenance activities.  Mary called and said she was working late.  I decided to head to her home and get the furnace on, light the fireplace, water Scout, and get a glass of wine ready.

The sky was beautiful, thanks to all the dirt and chemicals in the air.  I shot this picture as I entered the freeway from Seal Beach Blvd to Miss Mary’s home.

In Arizona, there are a few interesting sunsets!

When I got to Mary’s, I got the house warm, set the fireplace, watered Scout, and poured a glass of wine.  Tonight, Mary catches up on her mail!  She did a super job, but it was almost 10:30 PM when she got done!

We watched Two And A Half Men, The Ranch, and finished the evening with a movie called “Fifty First Dates”.

We dined on left-overs, and they were amazing.  My swordfish from Saturday was still perfect.  Life is good!

We called Jan just after 10:30 PM and decided we would see her Wednesday as Tuesday is a long day for Mary at the VA.  Only seven more days to go, and she will be a retired lady!

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
