The Drowsy Chaperone At Cerritos Center For The Performing Arts

After church, we headed the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts to see “The Drowsey Chaperone”. Praised by The Boston Globe for being “full of imagination,” The Drowsy Chaperone has collected five Tonys and a long list of Drama Desk Awards, including “Outstanding New Musical” of 2006. While listening to an old album, a shy loner is transported to a 1920s Broadway dreamworld where performers magically appear in his dingy apartment and transform it into an oasis of glitz and glamour.

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
