I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my grandfather.. Not screaming and yelling like the passengers in his car.
Today was an easy day…I began it with working on the Starlighter’s Website. It takes me about 4-6 hours to select, crop, edit, and organize 300-400 pictures into a “cohesive” story about the evening of dining and dancing the night before! Then we make collages of the evening and to some research on the “Did You Know’s?” We enjoy doing it because some people appreciate thr effort…we always look forward for the “job well done” from Miss Holly!
After completing 99% of the website, I took a break so I could come back and examine it with a fresh set of eyes. Good enough for now so I let it go (published it) on the Starlighter’s Website.
Over the next few days, I will continue to made adjustments. For example, in the picture above we have two images the same…just noticed it this morning (Tuesday) so I will go back and modify the collage to fix the “oops!”.
Wyatt did a ten-step polka so I caught about 5 seconds on video… always fun!
We had lunch and then I started the weather-proofing since we expect the first storm of the season on Wednesday evening. It did not take long just wanted to check the tarps, down spouts, and drains around the house…we are ready to go!
Part of the rain proofing included putting supports under two more trees as they are so laden with fruit, the extra weight of the rain water might snap the branches. Thanks goodness for 2″ x 2″s
We watched some TV and finally crashed! Before we crashed I thought a lot about the TV series we were watching and the following keeps running through my mind!

We watch several series it is all about sex and innuendo about sex with the “ladies” discussing it like guys in a bar! It’s almost embarrassing. Please bring back the days with ladies were ladies and certain topics were “taboo” or at a minimum not discussed in a public forum! Times have changed but not for the better!
If that wasn’t bad, we were watching Madam Secretary, which we generally like, and she apparently is going to run for president sometime in the future. Well, she called a meeting of previous Secretary’s Of State and the Hillamonster showed up. I got up and left the room and did not return until the show was over. I could not image a fairly decent show lowering its standards to include a not good rotten criminal…I am going to have to reconsider every watching it again…very disappointed!
