Friday. The golden child of the weekdays. The superhero of the workweek. The welcome wagon to the weekend. The famous F word we thank God for every week
We are prepared for next week as we have talked to two sets of nurses getting ready for Monday morning. The cold is on the wane, all tests passed, and at 7:30 AM Monday the Carotid Artery will be fixed! Yeah!
This morning I did another run to the hardware store top get some 2″x2″s so I could fabricate some props for the citrus trees. Along this time of year, the orange, grapefruit, tangerine, and lemon trees get so heavy with fruit they droop making it hare to get from the street to the house. So I plan to make branch supports, paint them green and water-proof them so they can be reused! I tired 1″ x 2″s but they were bowed after a few weeks due to the weight.
The information age is amazing…I was curious about our upcoming property tax bills (residence and income properties) so I went on line and voila, got all the dates, amounts due and entered them into the calendar plus set up for AutoPay with BofA so I do not have to worry about missing the dates… makes like easy! Thank you Tax Assessors and Bank of America!
Sue rested most of the day and I worked in the garden and did some errands. We departed for the GG Elks about 6:00 PM to met up with our friends for a short visit and dinner. Bob and Donna have finally returned from the great northwest and are quite happy to be home!
