Freaky Friday, Good Name For A Movie!

M-m-m-m-m-m: Family…Friends….Fun…Fridays. All good things start with “F”.

I decided no walking today…I had yard work to do!  Plus, I made another pass through the things I want to save and put in a shed to keep.  Ha, I filled up three trash cans with “must keeps” including the Christmas tree.  While we love Christmas, it took days to decorate that 12 foot beast and it was so heavy, it was a back-buster.  It is now in a land fill somewhere!  The pile of “must-keeps” is shrinking!

The truth hurts!

The trash cans are full and they are outside…hope the trash guy picks up the ones that are overflowing…the Christmas tree was really bug!

We watched some TV and then headed for the GG Elks for dancing.  The whole gang was there this evening…nice to see everyone.

The special was Mahi Mahi encrusted with nuts… It was reallt really good but a little pricey, guess the costs just keep inching up.

Did You Know? The mahi-mahi  or common dolphinfish (Coryphaena hippurus) is a surface-dwelling ray-finned fish found in off-shore temperate, tropical, and subtropical waters worldwide. Also widely called dorado and dolphin, it is one of two members of the Coryphaenidae family, the other being the pompano dolphinfish.

Tastes pretty good!

We stayed until about 9:15 PM when the band finally got too  loud to stay.  Funny, the band had a sign saying “If you think we are too loud, you are too old”.  Guess we are but we still have our hearing!

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
