It’s True: The world tongue-twister champion just got arrested. I hear they’re gonna give him a really tough sentence.
Today is going to be a great day! Well, no that I think of it, every day is pretty great! I am looking forward to Father’s Day as both Robin and Joe called and want to go to Disneyland so I get the best of all worlds. Kids who love my and Disneyland!
I keep thinking I am going to be 74 in a few months so I should feel old but alas, I do not! My father passes when he was ten years younger than me and in a condition where he could not walk more than a couple of hundred feet.
It is the “fault” of my wonderful bride who says “get off yo butt and move” and that’s why I walk and we dance. We keep moving.
As you can see, I have traveled 473 miles since October 2017. My App, called Pacer, keeps all the data!
Today the target was Ralph’s market as we needed ice cream, dish soap, milk and “heavy cream”. It’s s good walk, three miles and change.
Completing 10,000 steps each day typically burns about 2000 to 3500 extra calories each week. One pound of body fat equals 3500 calories, so depending on your weight and workout intensity, you could lose about one pound per week simply by completing 10,000 steps each day.
After getting home, Pacer spilled the beans,,,7,800 steps before 10:00 AM. So today will be a 10,000 steps day easy! I do this about four days a week…other days I work around the house doing less steps but probably burning more calories!
Love the little bush…the faded orange color makes him standout against the lawn.
This one on the otherhand looks like fireworks and also is set off against the background.
After getting home and eating, I headed out to the wine store and Lowe’s to do some shopping. I ordered the “wine” ahead of time on-line and it was ready for pickup at the main desk, convenient.
We watched some TV before getting ready to go to the Phoenix Club for dancing. The band was good this evening and Sue’s back was feeling pretty good so we did a lot of dancing and even tried some new steps that we normally refrain from with the back condition. Great fun!
