The New Week Begins

Nine Important Facts to Remember as We Grow Older

#9 – Death is the number 1 killer in the world.

#8 – Life is sexually transmitted.

#7 – Good health is merely the slowest possible rate at which one can die.

#6 – Men have 2 motivations: hunger and hanky-panky, and they can’t tell them apart. If you see a gleam in his eyes, make him a sandwich.

#5 – Give a person a fish and you feed them for a day. Teach a person to use the Internet and they won’t bother you for weeks, months, maybe years.

#4 – Health nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying in the hospital, dying of nothing.

#3 – All of us could take a lesson from the weather. It pays no attention to criticism.

#2 – In the 60’s, people took LSD to make the world weird. Now the world is weird, and people take Prozac to make it normal.

#1 – Life is like a jar of jalapeno peppers. What you do today may be a burning issue tomorrow.

Monday is here… A new week begins! It’s off to the races!  Paul headed to Home Depot to get some final necessities before hitting the garden!  While he was gone, Sue whooped up an amazing breakfast!  Life is good!

In the afternoon, Paul planted about ten tomato plants, moved about 40 onion plants, spread 1/2 bale of straw, and replanted the Snake Plant into two containers!

It’s too tight in here, I can’t breath!

After… ” Hey, I can breath again!”

Mid afternoon, Sue began to get a horrible tension headache so Paul stayed inside with her.  We did NOT go to Malarkey’s this evening.

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
