Time to walk… Paul is catching up on the previous month where we did not walk. He did the same route as yesterday so no interesting pictures. When he returned, several new goodies for the new air compressor also arrived… Oil for the cylinders, more hose, and another air chuck with digital air pressure readout! Life is indeed good!
Sue had a fantastic breakfast prepared when Paul retuned… It is so nice to have Sue back!
The day turned out OK so Paul began gardening and getting ready to plan the tomatoes and other goodies! Zack dropped by two bales of straw which his grandpa uses for mulch! Just in the nick of time!
One of the “snake plants” was so root bound you could hear its pain so Paul had to bust open the pot and split the contents out and replant it. The plants were from Sue’s Mom so they are twenty years old!
Did You KNow? Sansevieria trifasciata is a species of flowering plant in the family Asparagaceae, native to tropical West Africa from Nigeria east to the Congo. It is most commonly known as the snake plant, mother-in-law’s tongue, and viper’s bowstring hemp, among other names.
We threw out about half of the plant but had plenty remaining to transplant into two other large pots! We won’t have to do that again for several years!
At the end of the day we decided to stay home and not go to GG Elks (we heard that it was going to be packed as Street Corner Symphony was there and the groupies had invaded to lodge!). We watched TV and rested!
