A Very Sad Day

Although not totally unexpected, we did get a call from Aunt Kaye that Tom has passed.  To make sure, we called the convalescent hospital and they confirmed he died peacefully in his sleep at 3:00 PM today.

We rode the range together for seventy two years.  It was a good ride! He will be sadly missed by those who knew him.

We finally got “cleaned up” and went to Patty’s Place for an hour or so. Paul did his favorite prawns wrapped in bacon while Sue did the twice baked potatoes. We chatted with the locals and came home about 8:00 PM.

We were going to call Tom but there was a message on the answering machine.  Gayla informed us that Tom has passed at 3:00 PM.  We were crushed and finally just went to bed at 10:30 PM.

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
