Tis Monday.. A New Week Begins

First things first, money!  We had our quarterly update form our financial advisor and it looks like we are on track for another 7% year… All good!  Next week we go to lunch with him to celebrate!

Paul worked in the yard pulling some of the corn as it is too old to eat now.  Corn gets “starchy” if it sits on the plant too long… We just can’t eat it fast enough but you must grown a lot of corn for it to pollinate correctly.  Next year we are going to put a stand out on the sidewalk!

Corn every day at lunchtime for dessert!

Later on in the afternoon we headed to Malarkey’s where we met up with Irene and then after a bit the Rodecker’s joined us… Party time!  Paul did the Cioppino (Cioppino is a fish stew originating in San Francisco, California. It is considered an Italian-American dish, and is related to various regional fish soups and stews of Italian cuisine.) and the Rodeckers followed suit.

Wally and Paul giggled like little kids – We know not what about!

The sun sets into the Pacific

Ghislaine and Irene we almost as bad!

We shared about Gene Autry, information we found out about at the OC Fair on Saturday

We laughed and giggled and finally headed for home about 8:00 PM at which time Sue did the treadmill and we watched a movie!  When you have great friends, like is so good!

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
