We are off like a flash to Stockton. We called Tom and asked him to meet us at Strings Italian Cafe in Lodi. It’s the place we always go to visit and dine with Kaye and Tom. Great food and wonderful service.
Time to visit
At 2:00 PM we headed down Highway 99 and we were home about 9:30 PM after having a glass of wine and a salad at the Black Bear Cafe near Grapevine. We made pretty good time and our mileage was 28 MPG, not bad considering our average speed was 66 MPH.
