Two longtime stars of the popular daytime soap, “The Young and the Restless,” will be featured at this year’s South County Senior Services’ annual Seniors’ Prom on Nov. 1 at the Irvine Marriott. The prom is set for 5 to 9p.m. and is a fund-raiser to support such senior services as Meals on Wheels and Adult Senior Day Care programs. It is being presented by Cox Communications. This 20th annual prom will again feature the dance music of Johnny Vana’s “Big Band Alumni” orchestra, a full buffet dinner, the crowning of a king and queen, prom photographs and raffle prizes.
