Duh! We Stayed Home… For A While!

After staying up until 3:00 am, we slept for quite a while!  Paul worked on the computer and Sue took it very easy and then took a nice nap!  Broken hands are really a pain in many ways.

The hand is a marvelously complex part of the human anatomy. Every year, however, millions of people experience broken bones within their hands. Because we are so dependent on our hands, even a small loss of function can result in a lifelong disability.

We decided to go to the Elks tonight just to avoid cabin fever.  No dancing this evening!  Paul gad a burger and brought home a tack of ribs! What is cabin fever?

Cabin fever is an idiomatic term for a claustrophobic reaction that takes place when a person or group is isolated or shut in a small space with nothing to do for an extended period. Cabin fever describes the extreme irritability and restlessness a person may feel in these situations.  The phrase is also used humorously to indicate simple boredom from being home alone.

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
