Sue Is Recovering But Not Stopped!

We kept busy today.  We started out by going to Sherman Gardens for lunch at Cafe’ Jardin!  Good grub and a beautiful view.  Paul had the octopus and Sue settled for a more traditional meal! Today the gardens had been “Yarn Bombed”.

Yarn bombing, yarnbombing, yarn storming, guerrilla knitting, kniffiti, urban knitting or graffiti knitting is a type of graffiti or street art that employs colourful displays of knitted or crocheted yarn or fibre rather than paint or chalk.

We walked for an hour seeing all the great flowers and trees with perfect weather! Join the fun!

We then headed a couple of miles away to go to Roger’s Gardens.  They had Halloween out and were already busy (behind the curtains) putting Christmas up!  Enjoy the fun!

Welcome to Halloween

After going to Roger’s Sue took Paul for an “infusion” at Cucina Emptica in Newport Center!  Tamera was the bartender and she made Paul two drinks.  The first was tequila based with jalapenos and the second was a whiskey infused with burnt tree bark! Fun!

We then returned home and rested before going to the Santa Ana Elks lodge for a dinner dance with the gang!

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
