Golf And Dancing

Estimated reading time: 2 minutes

We played golf with James and Charlotte again today.  The weather was perfect!  The ocean breeze actually felt a little cool and the humidity was within tolerance levels!  We finished in a tad over 4 hours.

On the course!

On the course! Hwew we go!

As it shows below, we walked three and a half miles in four hours .  The speed makes no sense as we walk,  wait, stand etc. when playing golf.

We did a two hours of “Happy Hour” before going home to change and go to Santa Ana Elks for the Luau!  We danced and visited until 10:00 and then we headed to Patty’s Place for a nightcap!

In ancient times, including ancient Hawaii, men and women ate their meals separately; also women and the rest of society were not allowed to eat foods that were not common or foods that were only served during special occasions. However, in 1819, King Kamehameha II removed all the religious laws that were practiced. King Kamehameha II performed a symbolic act by eating with the women, thus ending the Hawaiian religious taboos. This is when the luau parties were first created.

We got home around 11:30 and crashed as tomorrow is another big day!
