Abelardo “Abbey” Lopez Estacion, a long time friend from the Elks, passed on April 11th. He was born in the Philippeans in 1933. We went to his memorial service at the Santa Ana Elks from 1-4. We were amongst 300 people paying their respects. The Branders, Zaitz, and Irene joined us for the formal Elks ceremony and then the reception afterwords. He was a great friend!

We went home for a short period after the event and then decided to go to Old Ranch for a few minutes. We had a small flat bread and a glass of wine when the news came in… We are Great Grandparents again with the Attival of Baby Calhan Joseph Chartier 8lbs 5oz. 19 inches.
