Nothing would be more tiresome than eating and drinking if God had not made them a pleasure as well as a necessity. ~Voltaire
What? No golf? Yes, no golf! We stayed at home and worked! Work! Eek! Paul worked outside in the garden completing most of the summer planting… We are still missing some tomatoes but the garden it ready for them.
Meanwhile Sue worked magic in the kitchen with the freshly pulled cauliflower and other veggies Paul found in the garden. She made cauliflower steaks and put some of our homemade tomato sauce on them! Wow! GREAT way to start a day!
The cauliflower is now browned in the pan creating a great “steak”.
The steaks go into a pan for additional work
Some of the steaks we eat directly and some Sue “doctors up” with great sauces… Yummy! Healthy!!
We met James and Linda at Old Ranch at 4:00 for some serious Happy Hour and then headed to Garden Grove Elks for dancing with Dave Ambrose!
