Do the right thing. It will gratify some people and astonish the rest. – Mark Twain
For us today was a day of rest! The rain would come and go so we stayed home until heading out for the evenings activities.
Most of the morning was filled with doing the invitations and newsletters for the Starlighters and Topper’s dance clubs. Print, stuff, label, stamp, fold, and seal about 120 letters.
Paul went to the curb and caught several hundred earth worms that were about to go down the drain. They got transferred to you garden! Yeah! Sue did the treadmill and we watched two movies.
Our first stop today was at Old Ranch to meet some new members. We stayed there for a while before going to our bartender’s birthday party at the Phoenix Club. We stayed there an hour and met up with Jim and Jan Mongell.

The Mongells gots the giggles!
We then decided to go to Garden Grove Elks and we danced until about 11:00 to the sounds of Street Corner Symphony. Music was good but the sound was way too loud. Several of our friends left the lodge as it was hurting their ears.
