Good News Day

Not an interesting day unless you like blood test results… Yup!  Paul had the yearly physical and all is great…. Cholesterol was 140, lost 15 pounds of blubber, blood pressure 120/80…. Life is good!  Thanks to a super bride that watches out and exercise…. All systems are go for another many years.

My hearing could use some improvement

We celebrated by going to the local restaurant called Preveza and having saganaki and wine!

Saganaki refers to various Greek dishes prepared in a small frying pan, itself called a saganaki, the best-known being an appetizer of fried cheese. The cheese used in cheese saganaki is usually kefalograviera, kasseri, kefalotyri, or sheep’s milk feta cheese. Regional variations include the use of formaella cheese in Arachova and halloumi cheese in Cyprus. The cheese is melted in a small frying pan until it is bubbling and generally served with lemon juice and pepper. It is eaten with bread.

We then headed for home and watched some Hallmark Movies….  Life is indeed good.

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
