Bunnaford has been nursing her foot for the past few weeks since the operation so we decided it was time to get out. We went to the LA Farmer’s Market. We had lunch, saw some sights, and went to the new spagetti specialty store called Pappardelles Pasta where Paul bought chocolate and habenaro pasta amongst other delights.
Since 1984 Pappardelle’s Pasta has been providing the finest restaurants, hotels and resorts with this nation’s most exquisite artisanal pastas. They offer over 100 flavors of dried pasta and fresh-frozen ravioli, sauces and pestos, each handcrafted in small batches using every facet of traditional Italian pasta making techniques. We are available directly to consumers in very limited places such as select farmers’ markets around the country and a few specialty gourmet retail stores.
We then headed for the South Coast Repertory with Greg Leach and watched a play on second stage… It was a bust but you gotta try everything to appreciate the best.
It was a pooper… Several people walked out… We had great seats and decided to endure the 90 minutes of in-action and rambling non-connected dialogue. The only highlight was the devil… Otherwise, SNOOOOORE.
“It’s one of the greatest love stories of all time. And in this lushly inventive reimagining of the classic myth, Eurydice and her musician-lover, Orpheus, are a modern couple—playful, charming and rapturously happy. On their wedding day, Eurydice wanders off, enticed by a letter from her deceased father, only to find herself reunited with him in the underworld. But Eurydice must re-learn human language in order to remember all she left behind and, ultimately, choose between two worlds in this whimsical and breathtaking story of the power and fragility of love. “
