Golfing In The Cold

Well… Perhaps not cold… Maybe cool!  we had lunch with James and Charlotte and Paul again learned a lesson which is DO NOT EAT AND DRINK and then try to play golf.  The super-sized “Chili Size” and the two glasses of wine did Paul in!  Shot a 116 which was pretty bad,  We are going back again tomorrow and no big lunch!

By 4:00 PM it was getting pretty cold!

Linda came over to visit and we sat by the fire at Old Ranch for a couple of hours shooting the bull and having a glass of wine or so!  We then headed for home to watch Christmas movies.  This evening we saw two.

The first was “A Christmas Wedding Tail“.  Summary: A Christmas Wedding Tail is the story of a pair of passionate pooches, Labrador Rusty and Poodle Cheri, who fall head-over-tails in love. The two smitten pups conspire to get their respective owners, Susan and Jake to wed.  Despite Susan’s and Jake’s compatibility, their new blended family turns out to be more than Rusty and Cheri had bargained for. Now, the calculating canines must channel their pooch powers to keep their family from ending up in the dog house.

Definitely Grandma Sue approved (Five Stars)

We then saw “An Old-Fashioned Christmas“. Synopsis: The story of An Old-Fashioned Thanksgiving, based on a short story by American novelist Louisa May Alcott, continues with An Old-Fashioned Christmas. Isabella and Tilly pay a visit to Ireland, hoping Isabella’s long-ago suitor, the Earl of Shannon, can assist Tilly in getting her writing published.

Great sit back and relax movie

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
