Golf A Little, Dance A Little

We played golf by ourselves and although Paul shot 99 it was a difficult (at best) day! Dang ball had a mind of its own.  We went to happy hour and met up with Bunnaford and Ernie and had a glass and a half of vino before heading in the fog back home to visit the babies.

Off to Khoury’s fo dancing!  It was an interesting fog pattern.  When we got there we could NOT see across the channel…. Maybe 1000 feet.  Then, like magic, whoosh the fog rolls out!  The pattern repeated itself several times during the ebvening.

The shot was taken through the plate glass window and the reflection of the photographer made for an interesting picture

Across the channel between the fog banks rolling in

At 7:00 PM we jumped into the “Silver Bullet” and headed west into the moonlight to arrive at the Phoenix Club at 7:30 just in time for the first dance.  As we entered the lobby, we saw the first large Christmas tree of the season.

The tree was huge... Maybe 25 feet tall!

It was a cool evening so we danced a lot.  Marianna and Craig dropped by, Nance and Vicne, Herbie and Irene, Kathy and Ed Roberts joined us… It was a delightful evening.

Time for a breather between dances

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
