Success… well, sort of!
We were enjoying our morning coffee on the patio when I checked the security camera—and there was our missing kitty! She was actually inside the trap… but somehow managed to tiptoe around the strike plate like a tiny furry ninja and escaped again.
So tonight, we’re moving the food farther back into the trap. No more loopholes, Miss Whiskers. Tonight, the tuna buffet comes with a capture clause. She is ours tonight!!

Five years ago, Tuesday will be our 5th anniversary, but it falls on a Tuesday, so we decided to make the celebration tonight.
Mary, Jan, and I (who got us together) five years ago at Patty’s Place dining room. We invited Jan, but she did not want to go this year as she is stuck at home.
Happy times!

Our patio is perfect for morning coffee. We read the newspaper, visit, and make plans for the day! Today the plan is easy: work until 1:00 pm, get cleaned up, and head for Patty’s at 4:00 pm.
Life is good!!
The weather began wonderfully with the Sun shining and the garden beckoning us to come and do some trimming. Mary trimmed the roses.
The pool remains at 92 degrees, perfect for the evening swim!
The water is a cool 92 degrees, and we have all the lights in the plants working now!

Mary finished off her diamond art birds! They are so cute!
Diamond art (also called diamond painting) is a craft where you place tiny, shiny resi” “diamonds” or drills onto a sticky, pre-printed canvas to create a sparkling picture.
It’s similar to paint-by-numbers, but instead of paint, you use small gems. Each symbol on the canvas matches a diamond color, and you place them one by one with a special pen tool.
Common diamond art kits usually include:
• A sticky canvas with a printed design
• Color-coded resin diamonds
• A diamond applicator pen
• Wax or gel for picking up diamonds
• A tray to sort the diamonds
The finished piece looks like a mosaic with a glittery, textured effect. It’ss popular because it’s relaxing, easy to learn, and doesn’t require artistic experience.
Then we got ready to celebrate five years. Robin and Bob came over at 3:00 pm, and we emptied a bottle of champagne before heading to Patty’s Plan.

By the time we got home, it was 10:00 pm, and we crashed right after Robin and Bob departed. We were going to swim for a while, but it was too late!
