Monday Was A Day Of Rest

Estimated reading time: 2 minutes

We first went to the gym!  Oh, that’s me on the right!

As we drove up, I could not believe it, the delivery truck was again parked in front of Peak Performance.   They had just driven up, so we rushed into the gym and began our exercise regimen.  I cycled for five miles and then began the floor exercises.  We kept an eye on the front door, expecting the new torture device at any moment.  The delivery guys took a short break and had a cup of coffee while Mary and I ran through our exercises as fast as we could.  We will see what it is next week!

We escaped and never looked back.  We went directly home, where I camped out the rest of the day.  For some reason, I was dizzy most of the day,y having a difficult time walking.

We were supposed to meet Robin and Bob at Downtown Disney, but I could not walk that far.

Dianne called and offered to bring us dinner, and we jumped at the chance to visit with her and get a hamburger at the same time.

Mary opened her presents with vigor!  She went crazy for her leopard gloves and gardening hat!

She is ready to go to the garden now!

We watched some TV and went to bed around 10:00 pm, and I was hoping this dizziness would go away after a good night’s sleep!

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
