Tuesday And Spring Has Gone Away; Winter Is Back! Tax Day!

Estimated reading time: 2 minutes

Today, the calendar is as clear as my brain before I’ve had coffee, except for Mary’s painting class! We got off to a slow start; I think we moved slower than paint drying on a rainy day!

I officially hate computers! I tried to find out how to pay off the Lexus (Silver Fox), and after thirty minutes of trying passwords and usernames, I gave up!!! Then, I tried to renew some prescriptions online but could not get into CVS!  Damn computers!!

As soon as I pay off the Silver Fox, I will buy one of those knock-off Tesla trucks to use with the garden!  I like the dark grey color!

We can hardly wait to park it out front of the house and turn the driveway into a mini car showroom! Let the neighbors get ready for our new “driveway of fame!”

Speaking of cars, we are attending the Packard International Club event!  Perhaps we may have our “new” Packard Caribbean convertible to bring to the show next year!  We are going with Dianne!

This will be our fifth visit together.

Great fun!

Mary drove to the painting class, where another masterpiece was created.  I stayed at home  and did chores.

I liked the way she inked in the outlines!

Of course, I framed it for immediate hanging!

While she was gone, I installed a light above the cupola where she works. The BLNAN LED Flush Mount Ceiling Light Fixture with Remote Control is a 15.4-inch 36W 3000K-6500K Dimmable Round Low Profile Ceiling Lamp. This will enable her to adjust the lighting to suit the time she paints.

Mary likes the fact I am a “handyman.”

Mary fixed dinner, and we watched Evergreen until about 9:00 p.m. when it was time to crash! Throughout the evening, I checked my blood oxygen level, which remained above 94% continuously. I am on day three of juice drinking; I wonder if those are connected?

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
