Baby Ducks And Tiny People

Finally we got to play golf today and the babies were out to say hello.

Grandma Sue talks to the babies

Mommy duck is close by!

The ducks are generally monogamous, although these bonds generally last a single year only. Larger species and the more sedentary species (like fast river specialists) tend to have pair-bonds that last numerous years. Most duck species breed once a year, choosing to do so in favourable conditions (spring/summer or wet seasons). Ducks also tend to make a nest before breeding.

We had a drink or two on the 19th hole with John (a prospective member) and with Charlotte and Bunny.  We then headed for home to visit the babies (with a short stop at the doctors office).  Then to the Phoenix Club for an evening of dancing.

Tiny people but one is not really...

Wine loosens up the bones so we can dance faster... Well, that IS the theory

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
