It’s Thursday, and time to have the eyeball checked. Into the Silver Fox, and off e went zooming down the 261 to the doctor’s office a mere 30 minutes away. We saw Dr. Klome and the eyes checked out at 20-40 and had an eye pressure of 36, a little high, so we have dops to put in. Now I have 20/20 and 20/40; no need for glasses, and driver’s tests will be a snap! We expect the eye to improve as the pressure returns to normal.
We came home directly afterward via a quick stop at Home Depot. We visited Scout, who was still trying to open his eyes; Scout does NOT do mornings.
We were expecting Bonnie, Mary’s college roommate’s daughter, to visit us, and she was right on time. Bonnie is a delightful person who we enjoy visiting with when she comes to Orange or we goto Camarillo.
We gave Bonnie a tour of the garden and visited for quite a while then we asked her to come to Girl’s Night Out with us, which she did. She got to meet most of the “crazies.”
The garden is a pretty good size as viewed from our ballroom on the second floor.
After Girl’s Night Out, we went home, and I took a nap, trying to take it easy with the eye. We had dinner, and after dinner, we went to Jan’s. She had no seen us in a couple of days because of the doctor’s appointments. Jan will be joining us Sunday at Starlighters!
We crashed early after Mary chased me around the house to put eye drops everywhere. She takes wonderful care of the old man!
What do you call an eye that can fly? A real eye soar.
