Tis Friday; We Are Warming Up For The Weekend!!

Estimated reading time: 3 minutes

Mary asked me, “Could you please go shopping for me and buy one carton of milk and if they have avocados, get 6. A short time later returned with 6 cartons of milk. Mary asked me, “Why did you buy 6 cartons of milk”  I replied, “They had avocados.”

We headed to Los Alamitos to see my dermatologist where he took some samples for biopsy.  Being a redhead, once upon a time, is coming home to roost!  I look like I was in a bar fight.

We decided that since we were do close, a call to Vicky was in order, and lunch at Old Ranch was in order.

We had a marvelous lunch with Miss Vicky and caught up on everything that’s happened since yesterday, ha ha!

Lunch at the club.

From the club, we went home and did some planting   We love the Night Sky Petunia.  Night Sky’ petunias will upend every preconceived notion you might have about petunias. Their vivid purple petals are speckled with white, giving them a dappled, otherworldly appearance. At first, you might not even believe they’re petunias since they probably look like nothing you’ve ever seen at a garden center. Solid purple varieties do exist, but these belong in a whole other category.

The starry effect of the white spots on the ‘Night Sky’ flower is completely mesmerizing.

Night Sky Petunias will blossom all summer long!

We must have yellow in the garden, it’s a caution sign.

Love those colors.

The Azelias look like they need some water!  We drug out the hose and gave them a good bath.

The Azelias take the heat.

The white Azelias are brand new and do not absorb as much heat as their red cousins.

White Azelias.

Our lawyer called right on time at 2:30 pm and we talked to home for an hour.  Both Mary and I are changing our legal paperwork should we pass on.  We were satisfied with his recommendations and the changes are being made.

We stayed home today and had a nice dinner before going to the swim spa to soak our poor muscles and bones!  We tried to work in the garden but it was 89 degrees and Mary began to melt so we called it quits.

After getting out of the spa, we called Robin to coordinate upcoming events.  We are not “In-Sync”.

We finally hit the sack around 10:00 pm after watching Night Agent through the last episode but we hear it is coming back.  Following its premiere on March 23, the series became Netflix’s third most-watched show of all time. Due to that success, The Night Agent will return for a second season with a new location and cast. The Night Agent is based on author Mathew Quirk’s book of the same name.
