OMG! No ER Today!

Fact:  Emergency medicine is a specialty.  Yes, we did residency training to learn how to work in the ED.  This training lasts three to four years after medical school.  It is sometimes followed by another one to three years of additional training for subspecialty certifications, like pediatric emergency medicine, toxicology, and hyperbaric undersea medicine, to name a few.

We were up and going at 6:00 AM, but then we looked at each other and said, “Why?”  It was 6:15 AM, which meant coffee time, so we sat in the kitchen and called Colleen; she was amazed; we called at 9:00 AM her time!

Today we again stayed close to home and just worked in the office.  Carlos came by, and we discussed where to put all the dirt!  He also moved the bale of hay from the van to the backyard, and Mary and I spread it on the first row.

We will need three bales every time we mulch!

The straw keeps the moisture in and prevents the soil from drying out.

We visited Jan towards the end of the afternoon to say howdy!  After that, we returned home and watched TV.  I am still favoring the knee, and draining like mad!

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
