If there are no dogs in heaven, then when I die, I want to go where they went.
The sun rose in the east, and I was anxious to see what Scout The Wonder Dog wrote about yesterday. He did an outstanding job translating Dog to English, although he did wag a participle a couple of times! Scout doing the writing made the day easy, so he may be volunteered again sometime soon!
The fog was intense, and we could not even see the mountain behind us, so I suggested Mary hit the road early; she did, and it was a wise suggestion! She made it with a bit of time to spare.
Scout, my trusty sidekick, and I began our chores. We did the wash, cleaned the garage, did some errands, and even got the comics from the local Staples store.
We went for a walk, so I could say I walked Five Miles.
In the afternoon, which crept up on me quickly, I entertained the gardener and our pool guy. At 5:00 PM, I had to fix dinner, so I made a broccoli and cheese quiche and fixed up some artichokes plus, I found some bourbon whisky flavored ice cream buried deep in the bowels of the freezer!
Mary got home about 6:00 PM, and I had the spycam on when she showed up!
We sat and had a pleasant dinner, chatted with Colleen for a while, and decided no hot tub tonight!
We were both tired, so we adjourned to the TV/Living Room and watched “The Best Little Whorehouse In Texas” and laughed and giggled for two hours.
We hit the sack around 10:00 PM, for we have a busy weekend!
