It’s Saturday And Time To Rest!

The weekend is here; give it a warm welcome by allowing yourself a lovely day of rest.

We hit the Swim Spa first thing with two cups of coffee and a pair of Mary’s homemade muffins!  It was a wonderful way to start the day!

After soaking, we entered the office and began organizing and cleaning; it seems to be a full-time job!  We have a large office/library about 20×20 feet which is wonderful as all our computer goodies fit and we have room for a kitchen table when we zoom.

By 3:00 PM we were done so we got ready to go dancing.  We put up the holiday tree in the front TV room window and it will be just fine!

5:00 PM and time to go to Chino for dancing.  We were full from lunch so we stopped at the Vintner’s Restaurant and had some appetizers and a glass of vino!  We were in great moods and the pictures came naturally!

We had a lite dinner at the Vintner’s Tavern just around the corner from the dance studio.

I played with the camera and got a great B&W shot with a studio background!

It is getting close to Halloween.

She threw a hex on me, it was something like “Make the boy dance like Fred Astaire this evening”.  Moments later I felt my legs grow four inches, I lost 100 pounds and grew hair.  I am ready for an evening of dancing with friends.

Casting her spell on me; this will be interesting!

To make sure we had energy for dancing we shared some bread pudding.  Delicious!

Bread pudding was done differently.

Into the lair we went and we were greeted by Bones, our new dance instructor.

Mary found a new friend, no bones about it!

Mary introduced us and they watched us quietly all evening long!

He did not care if she led or not!

Line dance time….

We returned home at 9:30 PM and crashed!  We didn’t even start a movie cause we knew we would not last. Tomorrow we are having a small dinner party so it will be time to go shopping first thing.

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
